I you talking About The Late Seventies Version of The Three Musketeers. The One With Michael York as D'Artagnan. That Also had Charlton Heston As Cardinal Richelieu, And Christopher Lee ( Count Doko In Star Wars, Saruman In Lord Of The Rings) As Count Rochefort. Not To Mention 60's And 70's Sex Symbol Racael Welch As Constance.
i watched the movie and thought that it was delightful. I was intrigued by the powerful message that was set behind the drama . The impactful battle scene astonished me beyond my wildest dreams.

I watched the Stephen Herek version by Disney, with Chris O'Donnell as D'Artagnan, Keifer Sutherland as Athos, Charlie Sheen as Aramis, Oliver Platt as Porthos and Tim Curry as Cardinal Richelieu! It was brilliant, based on the Dumas novel, but alas after only reading over half of Dumas' work, I can see that they missed out a lot of information and scenes from the movie, but I must say Keifer Sutherland and Chris O'Donnell and Charlie Sheen have got to be my favourites, and they are all good looking, which is good too..*laughs*

When there were battles in the movie they were few and far between, i can only recall there every being three battles at the most i think, but if you add duels on top of that then there were a few more.
