Welcome Graves. It's nice to have you with us. As you can see, the site is experiencing an attack of spambots at the moment. This is not usual and the administrator is working to fix the problem. You can clear the What's New thread of the spam by clicking on their individual name links, which takes you to their profile page; then click on Add to Ignore List and confirm when asked. This only takes a few seconds for each and a few minutes for all. (The administrator has been deleting all the spam more or less nightly). I know it's a pain, but I hope you decide to stay. :)
