First off, you obviously have NO sense of good literature. Secondly, she was not intending to make a revolutionary book. She was writing a friggin' horror novel. Nothing more. She put aspects of her life into it, but nothing more. It has become a largly questioned literary piece only because it directly relates to her life and who the "real villain" is. THERE IS NO REAL VILLAIN! And also, I think that neither the monster nor Fankenstein should be felt sorry for, for they both are evil in aspects. True, I do feel more sorry for the monster, but he doesn't have to go around killing people for revenge. I do blame society for that one. Victor gets what he deserves, trying to take on God's responsibilities. Oh, and the elephant man was legally insane. So shut it.
