I have read quite a few of the comments and i have to admit that pretty much every one of you has made lots of points that seem valid to me. What i would like to ask you all is this; What part of the book spoke to you the most? <br>The answer for me has got to the parts that winston observe the the common people, the proles. They could easily be replaced with common people the world over and whats worse is the fact that i am one of those common people. This forum is just a way of keeping the proletariat happy. Keep us entertained and we'll never rebel. Who needs thought police when we have such all consuming thought control. Nothing escapes.
