I can`t imagine why people do on their free will participate, just to be on TV, in a how with that name "BIG BROTHER". Before reading the book, I never knew where that phrase came from. Now I certainly do! This book gave me more goosebumps that any horror story ever could. Even though it is supposedly set in a Sci-Fi world, we all know where it really takes place. Winston Smith is the typical Anti-hero in my mind. Who would have been a typical hero, is O`Brian. Hadn`t it been for the fact that he was the villain of sorts.
