Reading 1984 was something that i really needed in my life. Orwell even states in this book that the best books tell you what you already know. How true in my case. Since this story touches on so much that is now fact in this world, i am now armed with the ability to express how i feel about society to others. Before, I had all these random thoughts and feelings but just couldn't put them together smoothly like they flow from the pages of 1984. I can now argue with confidence and make a point stand. My dormant brain came to life and it feels good to really care about something:humanity.
