I have read 1984 and I am a fan of George Orwell. I have read other people's prevailing worries that the fantasy of this book will delve into and become today's reality. I just want to state that I believe that in no circumstances, or ever, will our government in today's society mimic the government in 1984. I am disgusted that people worry about their grandchildren and their children's government mimicing the "Big Brother" system. I have grandchildren and I have lived long enough to know that our country is too liberal and diverse to ever come down into one power and one belief. So, to all those who fear the future, fear not.
