In 1984's society you never think for yourself, you are constantly being told what to do and how to live your life. Advertising in our society today is telling us how to live and how to spend our time and money. Our TVs are like the telescreens, they feed us infomation and we resond. Advertisers know what and how we think in order to manipulate us. There is no reversing this trend, it's too late. We are in the hands of the media, we are their puppets. Whatever they tell us we believe. How much do really know about the Iraq war or for anything for that matter. Today it's hard to know who you can believe...
