A Clockwork Orange?! Surely you jest? Anthony Burgess is my favorite author, so don't think I am discounting your claim too much, but he has written many books better than A Clockwork Orange. Try Honey for the Bears as a starter. After that, skip to The Wanting Seed. This book sets Burgess up as an equal to Huxley and Orwell. After those two, if you feel up to an epic, you may want to try Earthly Powers, quite possibly the most wry book I have ever read

One of the better books i have read. Would rate Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess as the best, though! Extremely claustrophobic! Asphyxating! But more than frightening, I think it should just tell us where technology and advancement can take a break, and we should take over lives there.

Privacy and freedom needn't be the same. Privacy obviously has decreased, but freedom to live in an existential mode is something i strive for, and wont lose for all the technology in the world.
