This novel is an amazing portrayal of a distopia. The chilling details that Orwell depicts in each setting add so much to the story and the quality of Orwells already outstanding writing style. It is also astonishing how clearly the events are presented, even though said events take place in a world few of us can fathom. Overall, this is a must-read story for anyone who can handle a depressing story without a happy, fairy-tale ending.<br>
