It's a metaphor you fool. Representation! Stalin is portrayed by Napoleon and so on. It doesn't matter that it takes place in England because that point is not that important. The animal farm is representing the Soviet Union and Federick represents the Germans while Pickington represents the Allies during second world war. Amazing isn't it. Geore Orwell some how knew that that the USSR and United States would be in argument.(this is the cold war). Remember the part where Pikington comes to the animal farm and plays cards with Napoleon and then their is a big uproar. Truly Amazing!

For english 1, we had to make a power point on this book and looking through all these, everyone's in high school or a senior, i'm an 8th grader. My teacher is ridiculously hard. And i did not understand this book AT ALL, but look at everyone else's summaries, i can make SOME sense out of it. but i dont see how you got the ussr and the russian revolution in this... i thought it took place in england
