Wow. I am pretty astounded by what Animal Farm really meant. When I learnt we were doing the book for literature, i though it was this kiddy boring book about farm animals, but it really held a deeper meaning. George Orwell was actually giving a satire of what happened in the Russian revolution. This book really shows how corrupt the Government can be, how the animals were living in a world of lies and cover-ups, not even knowing what Napoleon and the pigs were doing, just accepting their work. The seriousness and reality of such an ironic and tale of history repeating itself is very alarming.
