snow-bones
snow appears to smoke as it melts in the sunlight
while pine trees drip from scantily clad boughs -
their needles shiver, adorned with prismatic diadems

... and I await the snow-bones to appear before
I venture out upon the roads of life once more;
sharing the comforts of a wood stove: content

Excellent! Though i can but relate tangentially as here we had a heatwae with a 46 C (112 F) peak one day, All I was thinking was where is it cold? As my daydreams sunk deeper into the ice, and the was nothing to do about it. Even air conditioning barely coped (brought it down to 43, and muggy).
