I had to read this book for school and really did not enjoy it at first. Then once i started to compare it to the Russian Revolution the book started to become interesting. Disscusing the book with fellow classmates was very enjoyable, and trying to work out who th characters represented. I also watched the film but i would reccomend the book a lot more as the film is only adapted and is not what orwell originally wrote. The book is a good way to understand the history of th Russian Revolution and how power can curupt people.
