I remember that day; I had strong headache and chest pain. Nevertheless I managed to grab some time and during lunch break I went to post office to pay for book I bought on some antiquary website. History of solitude it was called. As it was Monday, I expected that postman will bring me book till friday. Somehow I managed to push remains of the day, from time to time looking at nice female co-worker. I was hoping that she likes me, but I didn't know, because our conversations were of strictly bussiness nature.

When I went back to home after work, darkness fell on the streets and night shadows were playing alongside the street I was living in, and some children were playing in front of my building where I lived. It was very cold, and usually in that time great anxiety took control of me, so I had to take some benzos to fall asleep.

Next few days passed as usual, with no big surprises, but the book was not delivered to me. I was sitting alone in my apartment and I called number of that antiquary. Maybe they didn't received money yet, or maybe I messed up something with the number of account. Female voice appeared on the other end of the line.

'Hello. I ordered book from your website, history of solitude is the name, have you received my money?'

'Yes, yes, we received it, it will be delivered to you quickly, sorry, but we are in big mess this week'

Very strange, I thought. Something in voice of the girl was making me anxious. Still I hoped for the best, in fact I was sure book will be delivered to me tomorrow. Postman always comes at noon and he is very pleasant.

Tomorrow I had day off, so I slept little more, and then I sat on chair to wait for postman, drinking coffee and tea. But he didn't arrived. Maybe he left book in mailbox, or in post office. Those things happened after all. But there was nothing in mail box, nor in the post office. I even met my postman, but he didn't have any information. I was getting more and more anxious, like that book was far away from me, distant and unreachable.

It was sunday and I decided to pay a visit to antiquary shop to see what was going on. Road to there was very long and exhausting, so I had to drive there with taxi. Antiquary shop was standing beside some abandoned buildings and a construction site with restricted area. As I was aprroaching, I spotted some girl who was standind by the door, she was looking me strangely. And when I entered, some girl was sitting at her desk looking at computer, surrounded with piles of books. I felt that she was lonely.

'How can I help you?'

'I ordered a book from your website. History of solitude is name.'

'Just a moment'. she said and then began searching through piles of books. Then she turned around staring at me.

'I am sorry, there was a mistake. Book was sold a few weeks ago, some gentleman bought it, it was only copy. Don't worry, we will return your money, and I believe you can find book in other places.'

I couldn't do nothing here anymore, so I left. Girl from the entrance still looked at me strangely as I was leaving the place.
