star struck

emotion hiding
wishing to be riding
up and up
to the skies
and sliding
a star would
catch it from
diving
too much truth
can be blinding.

I think of emotions as an energy that seeks the earth like the roots of a rose bush... they seek moisture and darkness and solitude... the branches reach for the starry skies like thoughts and technologies in pursuit of an other worldly... the flower is manifestation... and the perfume is the truth you are writing about.
