Blade runner morning

I awoke to a blade runner
Acid rain kinda day,
Son on a mobile phone
Human status uncertain,
Trump on the tv,
Likewise.
A box in the corner
Dimming the Lights,
Car awaiting directions.
Fake news, real news
Only fried eggs
Slightly snotty
are swallowed as a meal,
Unfertilsed birds
Sunny side up
Make my life
For real.

When technology with the intent to enhance us takes us further from our humanity and the only thing that proves us real/authentic is a basic need of organisms to eat, lol! You're so awesome at quick clean metaphors in your writing!

Technology was created with the intent to enhance us, yet seems to take us further from our humanity. It sometimes makes someone feel that the only proof of one's authenticity is the basic need of an organism to eat to survive, lol! You're so good at quick, clear, and evocative metaphors in your writing!
