What a sad excuse!
They say but for the grace of God
And yes so thankful I be
But pondering now, it's just so odd

I mean just look!
So slimy, so legless so armless
What's the point of you??
But hey at least you're harmless

So slithering slow
With shiny trail of revulsion
An elongated blob
Like a self contained avulsion

At least unaware
Of your unfortunate misfortune
Because if you knew
You'd have stayed in the ocean

What purpose
For a creature such as you
No neck! No head!
Looking like a streak of poo!

I suppose though
That you don't criticize me
So I should leave off
And go brew a pot of tea
