Not a makeup wearing guy myself. :)
As far as attractiveness on others, I think that if you can see the makeup, there's too much.

It depends a bit what one means by make up. Shaving is a form of make up, is it not? You can grow a beard, trim it and shape it, or just let it grow out, as seems to be the modern fashion. I wonder what men do to keep their beards always looking just enough in-grown but not too much? Hair styling is a related example. But that would be a big topic I won't get into!

OK, just one comment on hair styling. Strange colour schemes, and also ways to shape the hair.

I wear make up. Not a lot, I think it evens me out, whatever that means.
A few years back I went to the make up counter before a concert and asked them to make me look like a who're. They lady said she would not but that she would do it up. She caked on the make up! I looked hot but I felt greasy.

On the other hand whenever I get a mani/pedi I usually wonder why I participate in such a bizarre ritual but then out comes the essential oils and paraffin wax...

I quarrel with my wife sometimes, but we always make up.

I sometimes wear makeup, depending on the occasion and my mood but never foundation and such as it makes me feel like I am wearing a mask.

I was thinking of multiple colours, the idea being to use colour as a way of making your hair style stand out.

I'd love to dye my hair but it's dark brown and I'd have to lighten then dye

What colour would you go for?
I wouldn't mind blue highlights.

I wear make up on daily basis : sunscreen, moisturiser, finishing powder, blush on and mascara. If I have an extra minute I would add on eye shadow in neutral colours. For special occasions the list is a bit longer :p

And that's why one should never ever leave home without putting mascara on :d :d

Funnily enough someone told that the only thing they would never leave without to go out even to the corner shop is mascara if nothing else.
They are quite happy to wear nothing but the mascara.
I see the pattern there but have no idea why ;)
