is endeavour
it takes a while for it
to turn pleasure

it time consumes
and trust enthuse
the desire to reapply
reassurances in layers
a policy of feelings

to hurt is the worst

love is a game of hearts
to reassure the players
and prevent it
from the inevitable
is impossible
but to keep it insatiable
is the best part and the last

it is natural to want
to keep the spark
off putting can be a stark
and
certainty is practice
a book of revelation in pastiche
it takes two to care
for drastic but only one
to remove fantastic

love isn't easy but
it is free
