My name is alexia, and im in year 9 at a high school in Sydney, Australia. Back in the fifth grade we watched the cartoon film of Animal Farm as part of our social studies unit on "political systems", now in the 9th grade we've been made to read it again for english. At first, the majority of the class was certainly not happy, however now we have completed the book and almost our entire unit on satire, i've found the book most helpful, and definately better than the film portrayed it.<br>I'd recommend it to anyone interested in a good read, but make sure you read between the lines.
