If you are thinking of taking up a sport

This is what I’m thinking
Make sure you are well equipped to ski
And start with a small country

After angry things are said
It’s more sensible

You can stay up
And calmly plot your revenge

My son jokes about my age
His humour is very droll

For deflecting unwanted attention
But try to be amusing
As this relieves the tension
If he falters and flirts with you

It's good how you get the ball rolling, b/c Some of your jokes remind me of other jokes! Such as one from my idol, the late great Phyllis Diller(1917-2012): "Don't go to bed mad. Stay up and fight." Also a recent panel from the Argyle Sweater newspaper cartoon by Scott Hilburn shows a small choir singing within a fenced area with two cowboys on horses off to the side. One asks the other, "What do you think?" And the other replies, "Mediocre." Underneath the whole scene is a caption: "The Okay Corale."
