Hello,

Pretty often when I end reading a literary short story such as D. H. Lawrence's "Rocking-Horse Winner" or Bernard Malamud's "The Silver Crown", I wonder what happened. Ever felt like that? I am lost and the short stories often look like puzzles to me. I have many questions but often find no answers. Can you help me by introducing some great books on close reading skills of short stories?

Thanks in advance.

I would read tests for that.
