The snowy winter scene is
A picturesque wonderland
Viewed through windows
THE FRENCH MARIGOLD – TEXTILE DYE
The French Marigold is more than
Just a pretty flower of the daisy family
The Tagetes Patula florets
Are grown and harvested annually
To produce a golden yellow dye
To colour animal-based textiles
FRESH SNOW WAS FALLING
Fresh snow was falling
Like scattered confetti at
A winter wedding
IN THE MOIST EARLY MORNING
In the moist early morning
Dew drops embrace
The willow stems
Like lovers tears
Until they evaporate
Under the sunlight’s caress
BARE SKELETAL TREES
Bare skeletal trees
Dressed now in ice and frost
Shivering in the wind
BENEATH THE GREY SKIES
Beneath the grey skies
In the crisp morning air
An over confident fox
Chases after a march Hare
