Struggle

When I see a couple in love I think
Isn't that great!

When I am in love I think
I really need my freedom

When I am indoors writing I think
I should be outside living

When I am outside I think
there is so much to write about

When I am assertive and caught
up in the haste of life I think
I really need to detach from
all this

When I am detached I think
I really ought to step up and
be assertive

When I am at a party I think
I wish I could go home now

When I am at home I think
I really need to get out and
socialize.

I am always in pursuit
of being somewhere else

It is a beautiful struggle.
