Howdy, y'all! My name's Sam and I'm a relative newcomer to the larger writing community. For the last few years, I've mostly just done a little (and almost completely unenjoyable) gaming while harboring a deep interest for a few other things, like:

*Acting
*Rock Music
*Philosophy
*Journalism
*Urban Legends
*This rare thing called SOCIAL INTERACTION
*Storywriting
*Poetry
With all this (primarily the last three), I decided to have a go at traversing the Internet in search of a virtual home for these things. I've tried out writing stories and poetry before, and now that I'm a member of a group that's been active and kicking since 2010, I'm hoping to improve my writing abilities as well as get around to meeting, making friends with, learning from, and collaborating with others of varying character, age, and experience.
