I'm new to this whole "submitting of stories and literature". For the longest time, I did not want to post on sites like this because I like to keep to myself. However, a friend of mine suggested it to try and get me to show others my writing and get feedback from people other than my group of friends.

On this site you may discover that not many comment on the various contributions; however, you will get a lot of reads.
Don't be discouraged by this -- your input is valuable and I find that if one comments on others' work, one can usually get comments on their own work.
