A retired man
Spoke loudly
Went to a market
Suddenly stopped
Heard the news
Turned speechless
Something as an awl
Stabbed him at a middle
What a man he was!
Ways change to be darkest
A moment his dog barks
In front of doors kneeled down
Just the Prime Minister announced.
To cut down on salaries
What would come behind?
Is it the failure? Or
Is it a new epic without a hero?
That I don't understand
That I feel it unknown sorrow
That nothing to say
And nothing to answer

"Is it a new epic without a hero?"
That suggests another question to me:
Do we still live in epical times?

YesNo

A reduction in salaries would lead to a decrease in consumption which would lead to further reductions. I can see this happening in the US as well, but we are not there yet. The idea of a "hero" is associated in my mind with "altruism". The hero is a manifestation in action of our inherent altruism. There is no better time for heroism than during periods of negative social mood.

Oh!You remind me Danik just hear me how to analyse
Is it a new epic without a hero?
A question I further suppose. To which extent we feel that ourselves are inherited as much as we remember the past hero of an ancient time such as a Roman! It would be a mysterious machine to drive back and to all sides what the past is related to now. It maybe a compression we build ourselves to govern ourselves making eyes constantly fasten to a hope or a dream as we are still a part of the old. A newborn part should neglect the past when comes through a vicious circle and never it will be the part of Center.

I think I understand what you mean. We should leave the negative past behind. I agree but have no idea how that could be done as human destinies are shaped by history.

For me a hero is a product of epical times, when individual virtues were greatly valued. I think today collective virtues are being more and more valued. But also victimization is becoming more and more collective, people are pursued and killed not for any individual reason any more but simply because they belong to certain groups.
