I love this, particularly the first half. Terrific line breaks. Anybody loves a body, but jam and cream fit well into a jam-filled dream.

No one needs a tomb for oneself, but we have needed tombs (or containers for ashes) for parents, a brother, a brother-in-law, aunts and uncles. There will likely be more before someone needs a tomb for me, but who knows? None of them had cancer, but love is the only worthwhile cure even if one doesn't have cancer and even if it is terminal, love as you describe it:
