Deafening rhythms defacing the place
Or a strand of toothpaste clinging to its home
The edge
Biggest decisions and bigger risk
A trip or slip
And a chance becomes a death
Death only fears the brave
Only praying on the misfortune
On the edge stands the ladder
You can go up
But mostly some travel on gravity’s train
Harrowing screams
Must I trip so soon
And let negative nine point eight meters squared per second consume me
On other planets, every formula changes
You may fall here
But soar on Jupiter
The lady and her dog
Eccentric yuppies and their parent’s money
From them
And to them
Stands the edge
In such a moment
RIGHT NOW
You must choose
Alone and ugly
Or Alone and ugly, but with money
Choose now
NOW
I turn at the edge
Looking down
Up
Up
Down
And turn my back
Maybe someday I can face it
With some better options
Or a strand of toothpaste clinging to its home
The edge
Biggest decisions and bigger risk
A trip or slip
And a chance becomes a death
Death only fears the brave
Only praying on the misfortune
On the edge stands the ladder
You can go up
But mostly some travel on gravity’s train
Harrowing screams
Must I trip so soon
