Alice is definately a cult icon. She should be respected and Dodgeson too. As a novell, it works on so many levels that you just aren't getting it if you are bored. If you think "Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy" is good remember the context Dodgeson wrote in, and give him the credit due.
