Hi there. I'm a former computer science major who has decided to change majors to English and Literature. I'm wondering if anyone could suggest a good MOOC (massive online open course) that I could take over the summer to get my feet wet for next year in the fall. There seem to be so many on iTunes, coursera etc. and I'm just wondering what your experiences have been with some of them and if you could recommend any.

In terms of what type of literature I'm interested in - everything, as long as it's more of a beginners course.

My goal with taking a MOOC is not only for exposure to the classics (currently just read popular fiction), but it's also to improve my writing skills. Computer science unfortunately doesn't involve much essay writing and to be honest, I think I'm a bit rusty.

Anyways, thanks in advance for answering my question. Wasn't really sure where this type of question fit in with the other forum sections so I decided to post it in general.
