I am sudying the novel "Wuthering Heights for my year 12 HSC and the first time I read it I was bored but nethertheless was sucked in by what would happen next. Now w e have started analysing it in clas I have started to thoroughly enjoy the book. Don't write it off after reading it once, read it again, and again if you have to, because once you get used to the language it is a pretty interesting book!

For someone doing a language and literature course, your grammar really sucks!!!!

well, the book is ok. its not my favourite thing in the world, but there are occasions where it sucks u in. unfortunately it is fueled with long, long passages where nothing much happens except the family falling apart and descriptions of the moors. very long winded ones at that. As im doign a language and literature course, i have to look at the book in minute detail, and i guess this has two points a good and a bad. good is that I now have a deeper understanding of the novel, bad is that I never ever ever in my entire life will want to sit down and read this damned thing for fun! EVER!
