The predators must have their place in nature (headline)
Love for nature is important to us. We try to deliver it, in many different ways to make others to marvel and rejoice to nature´s beauty and mystery. We believe that humans need contact with nature, It gives them power and happiness. Life´s many different forms, enrich our lives and we believe and hope that many more will get to experience they powerful emotions of joy and wonder that we get in nature. We believe that love for nature is the sensual and the most powerful source to engagement of nature and climate. Fight for our planet and humanity´s future.
The predators play a crucial role in nature, in the ecological systems, nature´s machinery. They also have other crucial roles for us humans. Predators are beautiful, exciting and a little mysterious. They are rare - recently they were nearly extinct in our land. Predators stand for the wilderness, the thing we cannot control. There is a sense of freedom and strength over predators that are useful to us humans. In cultures, in adventures, in dreams have the predators a central role. Finally have they come back to nature.
The government has now decided to make it fully possible to decrease the population of wolves, a species that was recently completely extinct here. Half of the tigers can now be shot, just like the population of bears and lynx. It is even possible to hunt falcons. We mean that the predators must have their right place in nature. There is none who owns them, there is none who owns the experience of them.
Their quantity should not be regulated to a minimum-level. It is about a fundamental viewpoint. Should we treat the predators as something evil that we should have as little of as possible, or as something that enriches our nature and in-turn ourselves?
Many of us have experienced and enjoyed nature in many countries around the world. We are wondering how we here we are going to expect that tigers, elephants, rhinos and other fantastic animals are going to exist if we don´t allow our wild animals to live in other than minimum-quantity. Which requirement and expectations should we, one of the world´s richest countries, have on other countries?
We want back the predators in our nature. Sure, we understand that we must kill a certain quantity if there erupt too great problems, but the predators must have their place in nature again. We want space for the wilderness, the thing that we humans cannot control. We want space for the adventure, longing, fascination and we want to protect the predator´s rights. Don´t let the predator be a bat for other political discussions, like the health-care politics. Don´t use the government´s decision to minimize the predator´s herds. We want a new political system for the predators where nature and the wilderness may have their place!
