I loved this book. It is a classic. I did not read it for schoolwork, but rather for enjoyment. I enjoyed the main plot.....love and power. I enjoyed the inclusion of all the family ties. How ironic that Heathcliff becomes as much 'power hungry' as his brother was?<br><br>I think one should be somewhat mature to understand the meaning behind it this book. Yes, Cathy and Heathcliff should have gotten together and stayed together. But that wouldn't be much of a plot now would it? 10 pages long, I should think. ;)<br>As humans, our stories thrive on conflict.......our lives; and this book is no exception. If you are romantic and passionate......I highly recommend this book to you.
