Abstain, Abstain
No woods remain
And no a bit of flour
Sacks were lined empty
Wrinkling as an autumn leaves
Just a moment and the rat,
would pay its attention
To fordo the unpleased music
Our miller was taken captive
And no grain
To sow or to be lain
As our church that has been stolen
By savages of overwhelming disdain
That stunning hand of earlier pain
Biting on as dogs primarily,
Though striped by a muddy rain
To see over our lake the face of God
Waving to those still illiterate
O, humans; Why are you deceivers?
I am the creator of a small bird
Everyday to slay or had to be slain
I warned you, I warned you
Then Ur should be driven by Oar
It would be driven back
It would be driven back
By the Flood you remember
Neither a car you should ride nor a train.

I fear this poem is to be taken more in a literal than in a methaphorical sense.
Time to pack your bags and take your family somewhere safe, if that is possible.

That's indeed the bad conditions of Mosul-Right side.
The right side of the city now is besieged from all directions and there is no safely way to people to escape because ISIS savage groups prevent them not to go out their houses. The general condition is very miserable for example, one kilo of flour, which its usual price is not more than a quarter dollar now, its price, reaches 3 dollars or more also other stuffs are very expensive. People will die in hunger. My poem collected between ancient time of years of Hunger that passed on Iraq and now. I rouse the conflict to be more direct and obvious, a time we hear from president Trump more unsatisfied addresses that he shall run back to Iraq to seize on our petrol resources. Trump also disclosed about many Iraqi politicians stealing money since 2003-2017, from the Iraqi treasury and he said; the stealing money must be to the American allocations. Indeed, the military operations are according to US orders and besieged people should wait the orders.

I hope you well, dear YesNo, I think this poem exited you; I employ the East Arabian as well Iraqi thoughts including life-conflict to be drawn well into English as well as can be readable and understandable by all native English people. As far as I worked with you here in this forum four years or more, I changed many techniques in my poetry learning from you the modern language of speech as for long I noticed that the grammatical form style being vanished especially on writing poetry in what called "poetic license".

I liked the sound of the last part of your poem between the "slain" and "train" rhyme words. It is good to change techniques.
