John was looking at Steve. It was raining. It was not Italy. It was England.
'I think I told you, Steve. I had to leave because I was smelling the place out. I hurt my foot at work. I got depressed. I started eating candy.
Too much candy. I put on weight. I became attractive. Too many people were looking at me. I became very depressed. I stopped washing.
My brother said I had to leave the house. It was a shame. We both inherited the house when our parents died. I found your wallet. I came here.
I want a reward. A tenth. Ten tens inside the wallet. I want a ten.'
'Then why not keep all the money?'
'I'm a good citizen.'
'Then why not give without asking for a reward?'
'I can have a reward?'
'No.'

John found a box of recordings. He entered Charlie's house.
'I owe money,' said Charlie.

You lost me at "he entered Charlie's house." Otherwise, a fascinating read. Truly, you are the next David Foster Wallace. Your prose is so exotic and "free." What can I say? Bravo!
