I disagree. I don't think one needs to end one's life when a loved one dies to show that one really loved them. Life is short. You will soon join them in due time whatever that turns out to be.

I say things like this also: I "imagine I matter". It is a common cliche. But when I think about it, it doesn't make sense. I don't "matter", because I am not matter. I am not an illusion of something solidly unconscious and rock-like. On the contrary, I am conscious. Matter, if it exists at all, is not.
