Running Aways and Expellings

There were some runaways
From my life
They ran away
As if I was some kind of nuisance
And not just a woman
Asking for love

And they even didn't know
How far would I run away
Away from this world
From which some inexplicable nuisance
Was impossible to expel
No matter how far
Did we run away from each other
Or ask someone else to protect us

Interesting use of the word "nuisance". I usually think of nuisances as annoyances like a mosquito buzzing nearby.
