I had to read this for English. There is no definite opinion about this book. It all depends on the responders' context and personality.<br>Personally, i found it too gothic, and romantic almost annoying. I couldn't decide which of the characters were right and which were wrong. Almost confusing. I guess this may be one of the author's great skills, her ability to express the faults of humans. That no one is perfect.<br>
