I read Wuthering Heights for extra credit and was so glad that I did. This book was amazing. I agree with the one comment - if read aloud, you just get completely drawn in. I read a lot of romance novels classic and contemporary from Jane Austen to Jane Green. Yet, this work was different than any I've ever read. It was a romance in a different way. It wasn't the big kiss finale or wedding that most end with. It was gripping, supernatural, just different. I believe that Wuthering Heights is my favorite novel now, because it brought romance to a whole new level.
