So the American Presidential election is upon us, and I was wondering, who do you think should be in office? What philosophical reasons do you have for voting for the person? Like, what beliefs do you share with them and why do you believe in those ideas? Please be respectful of each other as you consider your posts, we all have different opinions.

For example, I don't want to vote for either of the main two, because I don't trust one and the other scares me. I don't know enough about one to really trust her judgement, and I don't care for the other because of women's issues, the way he is condescending of anyone in his way, and the thought of massive weapons in his power scares the hell out of me.

I'm thinking of voting for the Libertarian. Its kind of middle of the road there, plus he seems to be a better pick than the two running first.


It makes me think of Plato's Republic.

As much fun as the Punch and Judy show has been to date, ther is a no politics rule on site. It just detracts to much from our fights over religion. :)
