Xida was a healer in the ancient era who became a legend. Many believed she was a myth, some believed she was an actual person. The story of Xida was passed on for so many years and in so many versions that if she was a real person it would be very difficult to tell the true legends of her apart from the made up legends of her. Through all the different various stories of Xida, one main myth continued that was considered what made her famous, the legend of the Nurschwiu Elixer.

The Nurschwiu Elixer was a reddish-orange liquid that glowed in the dark and felt sticky and thin. If a person drank the Nurschwiu Elixer they could talk with invisible spirits. The Nurschwiu Elixer also enhanced the drinker with extra physical strength. The elixir strengthened and quickened the immunity functions and healed various illnesses. Through lung and circulatory stimulation the Nurshchwiu Elixer hyper-oxygenized the blood and in doing so flooded the drinker’s brain with oxygen, multiplying one’s thinking speed. If applied to the skin the Nurschwiu Elixer would remove wrinkles and would rejuvenate a youthful tone and texture.

It was said that Xida went on a long journey to a land called Jyvuxizqa and practiced her healing techniques on the people that she knew there. She soon was invited to a temple where very different people who said they came from the stars offered her a recipe for the Nurschwiu Elixer. They told her of Nurschwiu’s magnificent powers and that in return for the recipe she must consent to join them when the time was right and that she would leave Earth forever and go with them to where they came from. She consented and they told her the recipe.

The main active ingredient in the Nurschwiu Elixer was the honeydew of the Schwiu bush. The honeydew was secreted out the Schwiu flower every day before dawn. Schwiu dews came in three types; red, yellow and orange. Only a single drop of Schwiu honeydew would appear in each flower at the highest yield and one dose of Nurschwiu Elixer required at least a thousand drops of Schwiu bush honeydew.

The second active ingredient was the coca leaf as the coca set the Schwiu into action and without the coca leaf the body would break apart the Scwiu honeydew before it reached a full circulatory journey through the body. There were a half dozen other inactive ingredients that assisted in distributing the Schwiu through the body, one of them being water.

Once Xida agreed to the terms and the star people told her the recipe they said they would return without notice and take her away to their own lands where they guaranteed she would be happy and live an extra long and fulfilling life. They left her alone in the quiet peace of the temple.

Xida immediately set herself on the adventure of gathering the ingredients. The land of Jyvuxizqa is on the high cliffs near the ocean and the lands sweep onto a plain of scattered woods and meadows until finally reaching the feet of the mountains to the east. The Schwiu bush is sparsely distributed on the Jyvuxizqa cliffs and surrounding hilly areas. Xida arduously went on, collecting Schwiu honeydew although the task was slow and time consuming.

She made her first Nurschwiu Elixer and drank it. Exactly as described she entered a spirit world parallel with this one wherein she could see a new sort of light and a great variety of natural spirit phenomenon. She saw that people were alight in auras around them and that every action left behind a fading glow that hung in midair unaffected with the wind.

She saw spirits that would fly around unlike birds who were bound to the mechanics of aerodynamics. These spirits needed no wings to fly around the spirit plane with ease. They existed in many different shapes without limbs, except for a few human shapes that reminded Xida of the ghosts in stories that were told to her as a child. She talked and danced with the spirits that she saw and they made her feel new elations.

Xida got an uplifted sense of euphoria in the spirit world as the Nurschwiu Elixer relieved all physical discomfort and acted as a pain reliever in addition to the spiritual properties. Her woman’s intuition was magnified and her understanding of how others were feeling was much deeper than ever before. She was on an emotional roller coaster while the Nurschwiu Elixer released her of a lot of the inner tensions of daily life in an alien land with people she wasn’t accustomed to. She started to feel extraordinarily light hearted and sort of drunk.

When the Nurschwiu Elixer wore off she told her new Jyvuxizqaan friends and they were slow to believe her story at first but she eventually convinced them to try it themselves. She made a team of Schwiu honeydew collectors to help her get the required amount for numerous doses. Although there were now several of them collecting Schwiu honeydew the task was still time consuming.

Xida’s Nurschwiu Elixer became a legend nearly immediately as some of Jyvuxizqa’s finest people requested a dose of their own and offered to pay very large sums to get an advanced niche on her waiting list. The influential elixir turned Xida’s once tentative healing profession into a demanding full-time job.

She hired full-time paid assistance and erected a tent in the town square where she based her health practice. Her Nurschwiu Elixer was the main attraction but people came to her for many other elixers and advice to heal their ailments.

Xida now always sent teams of Schwiu honeydew gatherers out into the high hills of the Jyvuxizqa cliffs and she limited the number of doses she would sell so that she could save up a surplus of Nurschwiu Elixers. She stored them in closed vials inside a locked chest. It took two whole years to fill her chest up. The Nurschwiu Elixer never rotted or decayed so long as it was enclosed in a vial. If let to sit in the air the liquid would quickly crystallize like bee honey.

The star people returned sooner than Xida expected and they told her to bring her chest of vials to the temple. At the temple there were only star people as the Jyvuxizqaans were sound asleep and didn’t know that she was leaving.

The star people put the chest of vials away in a secret chamber inside the temple and left an item with an undecipherable hieroglyph in the temple that was ingrained with a magic to confuse anyone who might get too close to discovering the chest of Nurschwiu Elixers.

The star people took Xida away and she never returned to the land of Jyvuxizqa nor the land she was born. Legend says that the health practice that she left behind was maintained in working condition for many years following her departure but she never wrote the Nurschwiu Elixer’s recipe out on paper and she didn’t show anyone exactly how to make it. The Nurschwiu Elixer was gone forever it seemed although the ingredients to make it were all around the people of Jyvuxizqa.

Legend has it that the land of Jyvuxizqa now lies beneath the ocean and if you watch the clouds over the ocean late when the moon is bright and shines like a disc you can see the spirits of that long forgotten history.
