One satiric novel on Christianity that I have read 3 or 4 times is The Island of Dr. Moreau by H.G. Wells. It is a work that was influenced by Swift's Gulliver's Travels. Any one of you guys read it????

Well, how about White Noise? A postmodern fiction, written by Don DeLillo. Mostly satirical on American consumerism in 1980s, but interesting absense of God's presence can be taken as a replacement by technology (plus there is a briliant scene with the nun in the last chapter). One of my favorites.

I read only 2 of DeLillo's novels and have been thinking about reading this one for several months. Thanks.
