Every word I read,
I see you.
Not sure if it's true
or the fantasy I made,
but it wears your face.
You stole from me,
And know I've stolen you.
It was meant to protect me,
but it wards me off from others.
I'm afraid all men will be like you,
and my fantasy has told me that's true.

I loved the last 2 stanzas, it's a mysterious poem really; a peak in someone's thoughts, but blocked out before one can fully understand. It has such a simplistic beauty, relating the feelings without the reader being able to fully comprehend the noticeable hefty weight of the actual problem. It really puts a lot of character into it. "It wards me off from others", showing you are already closed off, and giving the sense with your poem of unclear understanding but raw emotion you express yourself whilst still keeping yourself so closed and far away. I love it. Thank you for sharing.
