I need some help here(I missed most of it). Vice President Biden's "malarkey" was noted. Meryl Streep reminded us of the Friar's speech about "grace" and nature(ROM2.2.27 or so). The passage is quoted in the late Professor Kermode's book THE AGE OF SHAKESPEARE. I mean, it's possible that Ms. Streep and a professional speechwriter may have read Professor Kermode's book and said to one another something like "Good old Shakespeare! The grace and rude will thing. Let's refer to it, indirectly."
