Wuthering Heights was a book that I, like many other people, had to read for a class. Although, in the beginning, the story was confusing and had a lot of new words, by the third chapter, i had plunged into the story of the Mysterious Heathcliff and dazzling Catherine. Emily Bronte sure did have quite an illustrious imagination, I guess noone knew how far into the darkness it could really take her. The story is very well-written and even though a little gothic at times, the major theme is love. If you can throw your own life away for a far better cause, this is the heart of all romance stories. Anyone who reads this book and says they didn't find it the least bit amusing, must not have understood the in-depth intensity to the story. However, if you are a person who loves to read about dark romance, and gossip, i strongly reccomend this book. For all book readers out there, there is nothing better to read than a classic!
