Stuff that is where other stuff
Is meant to be
Stuff that gets in your way
Stuff
That should have gone but hangs around
Like useless stuff
Stuff you hang on to
Like it symbolises you
All stuff
Money stuffed in wallets
Food stuffed in stomachs
Ideas stuffed in brains
Gods stuffed in black holes
Stuff
Stuff
Collected stuff
May be useful one day stuff
Clinging on to love letters stuff
Attic stuff
Toys
A shell you picked up stuff
Childhood teeth stuff
Enough
Enough
F ucking
Stuff.

I like the word "stuff". I can rhyme it with a lot of other stuff such as "rough", "tough" and "enough".
The best line was "Gods stuffed in black holes".

May be useful one day stuff… everything's full with THAT. Perhaps we should un-stuff our cupboards, lives, relationships, memories from time to time? My ex called me recently to tell me he still had two boxes full of my old photos in his cave – he wanted me to come and take them. I obliged (unwillingly because I was not eager to see him again at all), and then I spent two days going through that stuff, discarding and shredding photos. Now I've got a small box with photos I wanted to keep, and the rest… is history.

I love this poem ! Thank you for a trip down memory lane.
Going through stuff right now too. I still have a birthday card I received that I'm loathe to toss from a classmate (whom I can't remember)... Side note: That very birthday 18,000 military advisors were sent to South Vietnam... advisors mind you. I also have an Osbourne One computer (1981) and 3 or 4 or 5 vintage Macs (1984 on) that some say I need to get rid of (sigh). Shells ?... yes. I also have a jar with sand and ocean water in it from somewhere near Santa Barbara, CA that a co-worker (Lisa Baker) gave me during the Reagan administration because I hadn't been to the ocean in a few years. Looking for that wallet full of money doesn't look promising for me however... a few foreign coins is all I have found. No teeth thank heavens. So much freaking stuff !
Ta ! (short for tarradiddle),

I liked this poem very much! I am a great stuff hoarder myself. I remember keeping with me for ages a case with cards and letters from the times of university until one day I realised how distant these times had become.
"desapegar-se"- a wonderful word in Portuguese, that has no exact translation into English.
It means "learning to live without (somebody or something)".

Sounds like a description of my apartment (except for the "money stuffed in pockets" line.) "Google" or try YouTube for the late, great George Carlin's monologue about "stuff."
