if only love
was written
to rise
feelings undriven
they would come alive
and smitten
a prose
from the deepest
clause
to dance
a musical
strauss
to startle and cause
eternity
to sparkle a pose
and time
is forever the maestro
of applaud

It started an eternity ago.
It continues with warmth of love.
It will last an eternity, or more,
And love fuels it and gives it light and life.
An eternity from now it will still be.
Time is infinite and unbounded when love
Is involved, and love is always involved.

The English translation is rather poor but I think this is an interesting version of our relation to eternity:

Very nice poem, cacian. I am always surprised by your use of words. The meter flowed well as I read it.
I liked the ending on yours, PeterL, with love being "always involved".
I listened to the song Oração ao Tempo, Danik. It has a lovely sound. It seems like it should be titled "A Prayer to Time".

Yes, that's the right title, Y/N. I think this is a machine translation. Sorry!
