help finding a poem

i am looking for a poem that was read to me over 20 years ago about a man about to commit suicide. The man is sitting on a bed and describing the "woman" on the bed next to him; how she is coldly unresponsive to his caress. The "woman" he is holding turns out to be a gun, although that isn't realized until the last line of the poem when he presses his mouth to hers and pulls the trigger.
I have been searching for this for years! Thank you for any and all help with this
